We had to substitute fresh crisp-fried bacon and toast our own chopped almonds, but otherwise followed instructions exactly. The beans were delicious and a little different from what we usually make, and easy to do, too. Made for Holiday Tag.

Fantastic side dish. Served it with my Thanksgiving dinner. I loved that it was quick to put together on a rather busy kitchen day. The only slight change I made was to use bacon that I had cooked and crumbled earlier instead of the bits. Perfect and I can't wait to use this recipe for weeknight meals too. Thanks Lainey! So glad I tagged you in 1.2.3 Hit Wonders.

Yummy side dish. I made as directed other then I used Splenda brown sugar instead of brown sugar as that is all I buy. Everyone enjoyed them.
