Cucumber Sour Cream Salad

Dicing the cucumbers will make this salad into a sauce for poached fish (with dill). Variation : For Cucumber salad with dill, stir 1 tsp dill seeds into Cucumber Sour Cream Salad. Omit sugar if you like a tart salard.

    Blend together sugar, salt, sour cream, onion and vinegar.

    Stir in cucumbers.

    Chill at least 2 hours.

    Serve in lettuce cups for salad or on the tray with other relishes.

    Makes about 6 cups, the exact amount depending on the size of the cucumbers.
