Irish blood, but born and raised in Texas, in love with good food! I live in Northern California and have a full-time career as a graphic designer, mother of four (one lovely 12-year old son, one dog and two precious kitties). I'm pescatarian; "scales not tails", perhaps on my way to becoming vegan, but that's a slow crawl! I do eat quite a bit of seafood, eggs, and I have to admit you will catch me eating a dollop of greek yogurt or kefir from time to time, but no other dairy. I do a lot of raw foods and love veggies, except mushrooms and honey (highly allergic).
fresh, raw veggies; raw oysters (from the Gulf of Mexico, they're cheap and HUGE!); western european, tex-mex, indian or asian cuisines (ESPECIALLY thai!); avocados! and anything with tomatoes. I am currently trying to perfect my favorite guacamole recipe to post here on the Zaar, but I'm such an extreme perfectionist that it may NEVER happen
