hi there, i've been using this site for quite a while so i thought its about time i gave back and posted my own recipes. recipezaar is definately my go to site when i'm looking for several different recipes for the same dish where i can pick and choose ingredients/methods and make something all my own!! as one of the oldest of 8 children with a single mother who worked alot, i started cooking/baking for my family at the age of 12. 15 years later i still love to cook and i'm always looking for something new/different to make. being half spanish, naturally alot of my recipes are mexican/spanish dishes, and i put jalepenos and garlic in pretty much everything (ever tried spicey mashed potatoes??? so yummy!!). that said, i really hope you guys try and, more importantly, like my recipes cuz i'm pretty proud of most of them! i will definately keep posting as i have the time. thanks guys!

i love cooking, reading, my boyfriend, my family, & animals (anyones). i have 3 furry friends of my own, jocko & chevy who i adopted when i stared dating calvin, and who now love me the most! & my own sadie dog who i've had for about 6 years now. i will be posting pics of them as soon as i figure out how!!

Favorite Foods:

during the winter months its soups, stews crock pot recipes & thursdays are pizza night (i love to have a reason to crank the oven up to 500 for a while...warms up the whole house!!
but the sun's been showing up lately so its time to break out my bbq recipes...we try to cook outside 3-4 nights a week during the warmer days so keep an eye out for my beer butt chicken recipe that i'll be posting soon...so juicy!! the dish people request most would have to be my chicken enchiladas, but i'm holding out on posting that recipe cuz its my specialty and i don't want to tell all of my secrets just yet, haha!! my steak picado recipe is fast becoming a family favorite and its much easier to put together.
